We are talking about our families as part of our Inquiry Unit about Community. We have been talking about how our families are similar and different to each other.

We love our Maths time. We are learning how to play lots of new games that are in our Group boxes. Here we are playing Maths games and on the computers doing Mathletics.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Maori language Week is July 21 - 27 2014.
The theme this year is Te Kupu o te Wiki or The Word of the Week.
50 new Maori words will be introduced over the next 50 weeks - that's one word a week over the year. That means we can all learn 50 new Maori words this year.
The word for this week is: 'apopo' which means 'tomorrow.'
Keep checking out our blog as we keep on learning some new Maori vocabulary to use at home and school together.

Today we had a Pyjama Day at school.
It was a celebration of our last day at school for Term 2.
We were all so excited about coming to school in our P.J's.

We had our last day of Gymnastics and we all had a 
fantastic time. We started with a game of Stuck in the 
Mud and then we played Seaweed.
At the end we had amazing fun with a parachute!
We have all learnt how to balance, roll, swing, catch,
throw, jump and move in lots of different ways. 
PLUS...we had great fun doing it!
