During our MOOT time on Friday we have been talking about taking turns and helping each other. We are all very good at being kind to each other and taking turns. The 4 children to get certificates this week were Luke W, Z'Kdeus, Bryden and Samuel. Well done guys!!

Road Safety

We are talking about being safe when we are going for a walk. 
We have to make sure we look out for sneaky driveways and  
stop, look, listen and think.

Buddy Reading

Every Wednesday after morning tea, Mrs Rosie Powell brings Kauri Toru over to Rata Block to read with a buddy. We love 
this reading time because our buddies will read to us and we 
can read to them. Here we are enjoying our reading time together.

Every Friday morning, we have Art in Rata.
Here we are drawing our Self Portraits using pastels. 
We talked about our features and we talked about colours. 
We started by drawing our heads first and then we added our features. Next we coloured our hair and then we drew our backgrounds.
